Hello, I am an American and will be on holiday in Asia for 6 weeks. Starting my trip in Hong Kong, will I be able to get a tourist visa for mainland China while visiting in Hong Kong for a few days, or, must I have a tourist visa for mainland china before arriving in Hong Kong? Thank you.

Iam a Yemeni. I work at Minho University.
I have a paper that is accepted in Hong Kong conference (March 2010). I need a visa to go there and present my paper at the conference.
Can you help me in issuing visa??

Dear Sir, Madam
I'm an Australian national and will be traveling to Portugal in a week. From Portugal I will be traveling on to China on 23 October for which I will need a tourist visa. Unfortunately, there is no time to arrange this in Australia anymore.
Is this something I can arrange at the Chinese Consulate? Could you tell me what I need to do?
Thank you very much for your help.
Best wishes
Drs Hans Mol, MA
