Information for Visa
Brunei ordinary passport holders are exempted from visa for tourism, visiting relatives and business to China not exceeding 15 days. Passengers shall enter into, exit from or transit through the Chinese ports open to international travelers.
1. A valid visa is required before you enter into China(except for visa-exempted countries' holders). You have to apply for the visa personally at the Chinese Embassy.
2. For any third country passport holder, a valid resident permit or a valid employment pass of Brunei is required. Non-Bruneian resident shall apply for the Chinese visa in his/her resident country(region).
3. A hotel-booking form in China and a return air ticket are required for any applicant.
4. Other documents are requested by the consular officer: such as a Bank Statement, company letter, etc.

Visa for Hong Kong and Macao
Visa is not required for Bruneian citizens traveling to Hong Kong for a maximum stay up to 90 days. For Bruneian permanent residents (holding ICI/CI) may apply for single or double Entry Visa to Hong Kong with each stay not exceeding 14 days at Chinese Embassy.
Citizens of the countries which enjoy visa exemption privilege do not require any visa to go to Hong Kong. Please refer to the country list for specific duration of stay free of visa in Hong Kong.
For Bruneian citizens & permanent residents or foreigners who do not enjoy visa exemption privilege, visa is available at the international airport or ports of Macao (visa on arrival).
